    This chapter discusses different types of participant-oriented adjuncts in languages belonging to the Nilotic branch within Nilo-Saharan and the Omotic branch of Afroasiatic. It also addresses the correlation between the formal properties of these adjuncts and other typological properties of the languages in question.
